We were cleaning our PC's hard drive and realized we still had these pictures from our trip to the Sol Luna Mares resort near Guardalavaca (northeastern Cuba) back in October. Enjoy...
When we first arrived at the resort we had seen a kitten near the wading pools but we were unable to get a photograph. Then we saw this cat at the beach after sunset, but we could only get its glowing eyes. The resort seemed to have a dozen feral cats, which only made us miss our catvicts at home more.
We finally photographed this cat, but cannot remember where this was taken. Probably along a walkway as we were heading to dinner.
Finally, we caught a cat hiding in the bushes while we were eating dinner.
The cats we saw were all small-bodied, big-eared, and had triangular faces, suggesting that there could be a strong Oriental heritage in their genes, e.g., Siamese.
Lighting is a bit underexposed but you can see two cats here, chasing after some juicy beef morsel that Donna fed them...or some small chicken piece that I threw to them.
One of the cats cutely crouched, waiting for more grub.
Cat licking off the food juices from her paw.
Cat sniffing out for more food.
One of the kittens that eventually ate most of Donna`s beef dinner.
She figured it would be a good deal to pose for the camera in return for more food.
