Phoebe and Daisy hide under the bed when the Red Monster comes out, then scuttle off behind the living room chairs when it enters the bedroom. Electrolux were telling porkies when they named it Silent Performer, it’s anything but silent (indeed how could a vacuum cleaner be silent?), but it’s a good little vacuum.

I know, right? And cats' hearing being far more acute than ours, we can only imagine -- but don't want to -- how much of a racket they make in those delicate little ears.
