On Thursday night my 6 month old kitten, Zoey was sitting next to me and I noticed something was bugging her eye. I figured it was probably a hair and I looked at it and that's what it looked like to me. I went and got this Nutri-Vet Eye Rinse from Petco instead of using my own eye drops just in case there is something in my eye drops that isn't appropriate for her and have been putting them in her eye. So her eye seems to be getting a bit better but I noticed she is getting some crust around her eye. Does this sound normal? Would you think this is not a hair I am dealing with? If it isn't better by Monday I will be taking her to the vet. There are times where she has it open completely but other times where she is squinting. But since I have been putting the drops in it does seem to be improving. Otherwise she isn't acting abnormal in any way.
I have been to the vet so many times for 'false alarms' so I don't want to do that again but I don't want to jeopardize her eye. I lost 3 cats this year and have racked up a ton of vet bills but I definitely will bring her in if I need to.
