I know this probably isn't the kind of combination that most people have to worry about.
The thing is, we're hoping to buy a house this year and the area we have been looking at is half way up Mount Fuji in the middle of the national park. It's a beautiful area. We're looking for somewhere with a big garden so that the cats can go out and enjoy the forest. I'm going to put a cat proof fence around the garden as it's bear country, but there are also Japanese Macaque around and no fence will keep them out.

The monkey are vegetarian so they won't prey on the cats, but how likely is it that they will attack them?
If anyone has any advice or suggestions I'd love to hear them.
