So you are saying Indy was bitten by a mosquetoe and its because of that? Im a bit confused.

She has a feral background so I dont know her genetic makeup. Just that catnip and silvervine don't have any more effects on her than plain old grass does. She doesn't do anything with it.
No. If you read the article it may explain a bit better.

Whether or not a cat reacts to catnip is a genetic trait just like their hair colour is. It's passed down from their parents.

So Indy must be one of the 30% that dont cary the gene. Intresting that article meantions honeysuckle. Theres a honeysuckle shrub on my property but finding conflicting information reguarding toxicity.
Yeah, apparently only certain types of honeysuckle are non-toxic, so if you want to use some that you already have you need to make sure it's one of the non-toxic types. The ASPCA lists this kind Honeysuckle Fuchsia as non-toxic for example. Also I normally just see pieces of honeysuckle wood as toys, not leaves like with catnip.
