Hi,
I'm a 30 something human mom and together with my family(husband, daughter and son) we house 18 cats. All are indoor and except for the latest addition, all are fixed.
Old to young:
Peaches is the oldest with 12 years. She's had 1 litter and her 2 daughters still live here. They are Patch and Baby and are 9.
Beau and Mischa are 10, brother and sister and nephew and niece to Peaches. Mischa had an accidental litter and her son, Sangha, also lives with us. He's also 9.
In 2009 we got Kopa(through my mother) and I found Dolf in an alleyway, scared and covered in fleas. That makes them 7 years now.
End of 2010 I found Minous. She was hanging around my daughter's school and I tried to find her owner, but when I heard some bulleys were going to hurt her, I took her home and she adopted us. Minous was already grown up and I guess she's around 7 as well.
In 2011, I got Frummel through my sister, who wasn't allowed to bring home a cat. Frummel is now 5.
Later that year I got 7 kittens from now ex-acquaintances. These were 2 litters from their cats who would supposedly never take part in any intercourse with other cats because they were hand-raised, oh the naivety.
Of those 7, 3 stayed here, 2 sisters and their brother, Meissie, Moony and Mankepoot(translation 'Lameleg)
In 2013, we found a black cat in the shed on Friday the 13th. She was aptly named Thirteen.
Also in 2013 I was given a Ragdoll, whom we renamed Flynn.
In 2015 I came across an ad for a kitten with a crooked tail. When I went to the house, the poor things were covered in fleas and the crooked tail came home, she is Kali. Same year we also picked up a tiny kitten, who was a bit malnourished. He's Kumal.
And on to this year. Last weekend we went to pick up a tv cabinet and I was just admiring their cat and she said: 'You want him?' Absolutely flabbergasted I didn't know what to do but he's home with us now and has been named Domino.
Today I came across yet another kitten but I will explain about her in a separate topic, seeing as we're not sure what to do with her. I want to home every cat without one but my husband tends to grab me by the ankles.
And a special mention for Nero. He was my husband's when we met and he was king of the house until he suffered from kidney failure and didn't recover so we had to let him go and cross the Rainbow Bridge. He was 13.
So that's just a bit about me. Feel free to ask any questions as it's easier for me to answer than to just give info
