Well, guess my touch typing leaves a lot to be desired.

Had a post-op check up this morning. All is fine and even read a few letters on the 20/20 line. I think the vision is as good as it will get. I'm not near sighted in that eye anymore so to read I need the old spectacles and cover up the fixed eye.

Ari does look whiter and so no bath in his future. (Yeah, bathe the White Tornado.
)

Thanks for all the vibes and good wishes and keep them handy for the 17th!

More vibes for a quick recovery.
I'm glad the operation went well.

So I wonder how many baths he may have had unnecessarily

I'm glad it went well and
for the next one.

Missed this thread!! Jan, so glad to hear that Round One has gone well, not that I would have expected otherwise. My Dad had both his eyes done a number of years ago, and just recently my brother has had both of his done, and all went beautifully, so we'll just keep the revved up for the 17th and you should be good to go.

(Glad you don't need to bathe the White Tornado. hehheh)

Somehow I missed this one, too. I'm glad that Thursday went well, and I wish you the very best for the 17th!

I'm glad this went well. I suspect such a surgery is in my future, although not soon.

I just saw your thread....
I had one eye done last year and am going for the other one soon.

Quick recovery vibes for eye #2 are on the way.

Got home about 9am and slept off the relaxer they gave me. It went well and now I am waiting for the go ahead to get new eyeglasses because I can't read up close with the implants. Bought a pair of over the counter readers to tide me over til then.

Thank you all for the good vibes and
!

Had a follow up this morning and the doc is happy with the results. Just wish the oral meds they gave me - diamox - had fewer side effects. It'll be at least a week before I'll be able to enjoy a soft drink.

I also just noticed I misspelled surgery in my thread title.
