My cat keeps blowing air out of her nose and it sounds congested. There is absolutely nothing coming out of her nose and eyes are clear. The has severe allergies - she's on allergy shots at home 2x per week and 6 days per week she get 1 capsule of atopica 25mg so we're doing everything we can to treat her allergies. Appetite etc are all normal. We have an apt with the dermo just for a quick check up on monday but wondering what I can do to help her with her stuffy nose.

Hi!
Would 10 minutes a couple times a day in a bathroom with a steamy shower help? The warm moisture should ease her airways :)

Hi cat princess!

Here's some reputable advice:
A commonly prescribed dosage for cats is one drop in each nostril twice a day....You need drops containing only buffered sterile saline solution, and these should only be used for a maximum of three days, or they may cause a rebound effect.

A pharmacist could ensure the ingredients you need.

And a 2-minute 'how-to':

Hope that helps!
