Cat Wants to Play All the Time

We have a 10 month old kitty that we rescued few months back. Louie is super active.
I wonder if any of you have a cat that always wants to play and only sleeps at night.
I work from home and he is always coming to me to play. He plays a lot. My wife and I
have had many cats before but Louie is something else. He hardly naps..lol. Its not a bad
thing just wondering if many of you have experience this. I have to say it has slowed down a little lately.

This is really normal, especially for the age of your cat.

I resisted the main advice of getting another similar aged cat for awhile, but it is what worked best.

He may calm down in a few months or he may not. Mine is 3 and is still the same; well maybe slightly more used to our schedule. The playmate we got for him calmed down much sooner.

Basically we have to provide him with enrichment (tons of posts here and on YouTube), all day while we work. It's hard to keep up with as he gets bored easily.
