So...Bubba has another trip to the vet today
He started vomiting on Sunday night, after he ate ( he sometimes does this if he eats too fast, so at first I thought that's what it was ). The vomiting went on from about 8pm to 3am, he would lay down for a bit, get up drink a little water and then bring it right back up. Poor little guy had nothing in his stomach, just water and foamy bile... I really think he probably threw up about 10-12 times that night.
Monday morning I was going to take him to the vet. I fed him and everything seemed ok, he was acting normal, so i decided not to take him thinking that whatever was in his system had left.
We were fine until last night ( weds ) I fed him his evening meal, he had two licks of the gravy and not 5 minutes later he started getting sick again, he went to get water and again, got sick. this time he only got sick 4 times.
I should mention that since his surgery to remove quite a few of his teeth, his eating habits have been different.
We had to mash his food and add water for about a week leading up to the surgery and then for about 10 days after. he was going through 2 pouches of food a feeding, that trickled down to one and then he started turning his nose up at the food.
So we started a different brand of wet food about 10 days ago and he seemed to like it...I would think if it were an issue with changing the food he would have been showing signs earlier.
he has never been a finicky eater, now he has morphed into being very finicky and only seems to like the kind that has "gravy"...
So this morning he ate and everything seems fine again...this time he's going to the vet
anyone else gone through this?
Hugs and Nose Boops,
Rayne
