Cat using her paw to touch intimate area

Hi guys,

as much as it sounds weird, it’s true.

I cannot send a video but here’s a picture

It looks like she has some problem in that area and that she cannot reach it, but she actually can reach it, I’ve seen her. Maybe it’s more convenient this way, i don’t know.

Have any of you stumbled across something similar?

I had a problem with my 14 month old scooting, touching and licking..she had to have her glands expressed last week and she is fine now.

Check or observe anything related to that area such as anal glands, normal urination and bowel movements, irritation to the skin, anything that needs to be carefully cleaned off.
