Cat too attached to me

My kitty Cupcake is just like that. He knows what room is mine and will run up the stairs ahead of me to go to bed. He is very attached. So it's normal. Your little fur-baby just loves you a whole bunched and has claimed you as his human.

enjoy it while you can. i had a 13yr old rescue cat that passed away from heart failure and i sooooooo miss her stealing my pillow.

Ohhh...so cute your cat is. He loves you and only then he behave like this and yes of course this head butting is sign of love and affection.
