Ok, guys, I'm new here, and I'd really appreciate any help I can get.
Just a few words of introduction:I've lived with cats since I was born (that's 40+ years) and consider them to be dearest beings good Lord placed on this world. Also, English is not my native language, so if some of my sentences seem unusual or offensive, I assure you, it was not intentional.
My backyard is surrounded with wire fence and it's sort of really big, big cage and all my cats live there, safe. All my male cats are neutered, and the procedure has always went pretty easy, within 48 hours the cat would completely recover.
So, here is the thing: Mr.V was neutered about 8 days ago, he did seem to took longer time to recover, but eventually started eating. He's always been a picky eater, not the kind of cat that would come running at the sound of food, and took his time with his meals. But prior to neutering, he's been a very energetic cat, would run around the yard and house.Around fourth day after procedure, he started sneezing, there is neglible amount of clear discharge from his nose, and very slight amount of clear discharge form his left eye.He is eating and drinking water, but he just doesn't seem like himself, he sleeps a lot and seems a bit off?
I called the vet, and he said that anesthesia is really stressful for cats, and that this should resolve with time.He also said that if cat should develop fever, stop eating or drinking, or the discharge from his nose and eyes would no longer be clear, we should bring him there.
So, should I wait for few more days, or take Mr.V to another vet?
Thank you all for taking time to read my post and especially to those that answer.
