Cat Tail Problem?

about year my cat ran away she was a sucess story saved from a crack house an infacted eye and a estimated life span of only a year i got her to eat fixed her eye and 5 years later she gave birth to 6 wonderful healty kittens but when she ran away we thought she was a gonner avout a week later we found her in our backyard struggling to get home to her family we dont really know what append to her when she was gone but she was dehaydraed starving and could barley walk hair started sheading in chunks by her tail and she was in much pain 3we began to notice a bad cut on her side that started ripping when she moved so we brought her to the vet when the vet pet her all the hair of her tail came off in the vets hands her tail was gon her wounds were infected she was to never walk again there was a chance o save her but it would be selfish to keep her in tourtue just so we can have her she lived a full life and with a final kiss goodbye we put her to sleep may she rest in peace
