I have a seventh month old male kitten. He's neutered and other than typical kitten behaviors, he hasn't been too difficult. Tonight, for no reason whatsoever, he is terrified of the living room. Everything was fine all evening, nothing changed or was out of the ordinary. My roommates and I were watching TV on the couch as he slept on his bed nearby. He got up and at some point managed to hide under the couch. I tried to lure him out with treats just to make sure he was okay which typically always works but to no avail. Suddenly he runs into my room and won't leave. He's terrified of the living room and runs from it. I have no idea what happened or why but his litter box/food are both in there so he needs to be in there. We live in a small apartment so there's really not many other places he can go and I'm worried that there might be something else wrong. Any ideas?
