My cat Lunar gave birth yesterday at roughly 5pm yesterday, she gave birth to one kitten who's intestines were outside of her body and sadly passed away when taking her to the vet, however Lunar still feels pregnant with 2 lumps either side of her body and stomach seems hard, she didn't let the new born kitten latch on to feed and ignored her, she doesn't seem in pain and is still lying in the place where she gave birth, could there be any chance that she is still pregnant and could give birth to the other kittens, we are keeping her inside and keeping a close eye on her.

I’m sorry to hear that the first kitten didn’t make it.
Cats can go up to a day or two without delivering kittens. You need to call your vet right away if Lunar starts panting, straining, or heaving for 30+ minutes without a kitten coming out.
