Cat sneezing after FVRCP shot

My 3 1/2 month old kitten got the FVRCP shot and also started sneezing and got pink eye the next day. The vet service said that the 2 were not connected. Unless my kitty was about to get  conjunctivitis and start sneezing anyway. I dont know why he has it but I guess the thing to do it get him better. I thought it was like when humans get a flu shot, then they act like they have the flu for a day. I am trying to avoid a vet office visit fee but I also want to get my kitten back to health asap. I see some people have relief from lysine which I will get tomorrow.

An update on Jet-I did see the vet after he had been having sneezing fits of 15 sneezes in a row, low energy and the conjunctivitis/discharge in one eye after 5 days. He gave me eyedrops, Tobramycin Ophthalmic Soln, which were great. 1 drop a day 3x a day, 4 nights later and his eye is fine so I am stopping them after tonite's drop.
