Last year we adopted a great kitten named Joey and he was reasonably healthy, but he has always sneezed (and by sneeze I mean there are projectile boogers all over the place). Recently we took him to another vet that specializes in cats and she suggested it may be allergies to dust mites. She also tested him for an upper respiratory infection but said it isn't likely and there are no other health problems other than sneezing. We are waiting for the test results to come back before starting him on some allergy medication. But what do you guys think about the diagnosis allergy to dust mites? I did not known cats could be allergic to dust mites.
