Cat Sleeping, Not Eating?

Hi everyone. I have a cat who is about 10 years old. He’s an outdoor only cat, and we’ve noticed lately (the past 2 or 3 days) that he prefers to sleep all day and doesn’t eat the food we leave out for him. We’ve been having weather in the upper 80s and 90s, I was wondering if the heat had something to do with it? He spends most of the day under a bush in our yard. I was just worried about him.

Hi! The heat is a factor, sure, but not eating at all? Is he drinking?
Can you tell if he's injured in some way or has an internal injury?
Would he eat Kitten Glop - there are recipes on the internet.

I think if I were you, I'd talk with my vet and see what they say or just take him in - don't wait for an appointment, grab him and go.

I think he’s been drinking water. I offered him some wet cat food and he ate a little of it before losing interest

There's a liver illness that can happen when cats don't eat, after a couple of days.
I really think he needs to see a vet. Hang in there!! I'm sending you all sorts of healing thoughts!!
