We adopted Jasper in December 2014 at a year old. He was never affectionate with us until November of 2015. I had triple Bypass Surgery and had one heck of a time finding a comfortable sleeping position. I'll say it was about a week and a bit later I was lying on my back in bed, when Jasper crawled up on me and bumped her head on my chin. He gently laid down on my chest and after maybe 10 minutes of scratching him under his chin and him rubbing his head across my chin hairs, he put his head down and fell asleep. I'm not the most affectionate guy, but I didn't have the heart to move him even though my ribs ached. He continued that for months and then stopped. He still does it every now and then, but it's different - like he wants a quick pet and to return to his favourite window. I wanted to share this and ask if anyone else has experienced this.
