Sometimes I notice my cat shaking. Usually his legs or body as if he is having a spasm. His body or leg can shake once or for a few seconds and then go back to normal. I also noticed he sometimes starts to shake/vibrate when I pet him. Are these two serparate events? Should I worry that the first could be a health concern?

Possibly Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome, Hypoglycemia, Stress, Pain, or Seizures. I'd get him checked out by the vet. Keep me updated!

Seizure or epilepsy, possibly, for the shaking.  He'd probably need on-going veterinary care if it were.  I think the treatment is fairly straightforward though, like it is with humans.

Cats' tails sometimes vibrate when they're super loved-up and happy.  It could be a separate event.

We'll know more after his vet visit
