Cat parasite worms

Happy New year guys. Starting off on a bad start this year with small problems here and there. Scout my small cat I have begun to notice has white tiny worms in his stool and dead worms around his butt. They are as tiny as white rice. I was going to go and get him over the counter dewormer since he hasn't shown any illness with the worms. Problem is I have no idea what worms he has and was hoping someone can help me. Most dewormers are roundworms or tapeworms but I simply can't see to identify them. Does anyone have recommendations on medicine or know how to identify the parasite?

I recommend you take him to the vet for a proper diagnosis. They will do a fecal test and check under a microscope then give you the correct medication.
