Hello. My kitty has been sick recently. He had some urinary tract issues and I took him back to the vet for a follow up appointment after he was cathed for a few days. I mentioned to the vet that his ears have been more sensitive lately and he told me that he has a condition where his ears produce too much wax and he is getting an infection. He prescribed a syringe of BNT in each ear plus an antibiotic. I gave the first treatment of the BNT and the antibiotic pill yesterday and today my cat has been complaining a lot. I am really worried. I want to think that the medicine is working and getting all the bad stuff out of his ears, but because of the urinary problem I wonder if I am worrying way too much. He is eating, drinking, and using the litter box, so I am not too overly cautious yet, but I am keeping an eye out. Any suggestions or anyone know about this?
