Hi all :)

I adopted a beautiful rescue cat about two months ago. She's nothing short of perfect. Anyway, this morning, when I woke up, I realized she was winking quite a bit. It's only one eye, which has led me to think that something might be wrong :(. Other than winking quite a bit with the one eye, there are no other signs of distress, pain or infection. So I'm not sure what to think.

I'm currently at work and my boyfriend is keeping an eye on her. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? :(

Thank you in advance.

Here's a cute picture of her by the way! :D

I think something might be bothering her eye, like a scratch or something that fell in it. Cats are very good at hiding pain. I think that if she's still winking by the time you get home, it might be a good idea to give your vet a quick call.

Yep. It is quite possible that she had some little thing get in the eye and is blinking to clear it. If she is still winking that one eye after several hours, give the vet a call for advice.
