My cat is 3. He suddenly suffered from paralysis on march 14. He was at the emergency vets both 14th and 15th. After 1100 dollars, still no answers. Always recovers.he is in one now. They seem to last 10-12 hours, then recovers for a couple of days. Then slips into another one. Cat has never been outside. Thoughts?

Take a video of these paralysis episodes and show them to the vet. If the vet still has no answers, ask the vet to consult with a veterinary school or other vet hospital. You can seek out a second opinion from another vet on your own, too. A veterinary neurologist might be helpful.

Did the emergency vet do any blood work or diagnostic procedure?
