Hehe... Yeah, he's gonna be hiding and growling for a while. Don't worry--give him space and he'll warm up to you eventually. And I agree with the idea of a "den"--I bet he'd love a plastic bin, turned on its side, facing the wall and covered with a blanket; and make a rule that nobody disturbs him when he's in his den. Put some catnip in there to attract him to it if he's shy about it... and if he doesn't like it you can always take it apart and use the bin for storage again.

Oh yes we will certainly be making him a den so he doesn't try to find one again!
Okay I know I have said thank you A LOT, but there's never too much of a good thing right? (okay except maybe chocolate!)
