I have been taking care of a feral kitty for some time and decided to bring her inside and have her spayed. She disappeared for several weeks and, when she came back, she was noticeably pregnant. I still took her inside, and plan on having her spayed when appropriate.
As soon as kitty showed back up, I brought her to the vet. The vet guessed that kitty was due in 2-3 weeks. It has been just under 2 weeks. I got home tonight and found discharge on kitty's tush fur and some spots on the blankets in her cage. The discharge is not bright red, and does not appear thick or infected. It has no odor. My questions are:
(1) How much discharge is normal? Her tush was really damp.
(2) How much time typically passes between discharge and the beginning of labor?
