Gandalf has some sort of injury to his face. It started with just swelling but today some fur is gone and I can see a wound. Any ideas what it could be?? He is still eating and drinking like normal and behaving normally.

That looks bad. Poor kitty. Maybe he bonked his head on something sharp? I would get that checked out so it doesn’t get infected
Looks like he had an abcess. The wound is quite large, I'd take him to the vet and get it checked out
Yes,he needs to see a vet. Don't wait til it gets worse.use cloth and water
to all of the above. I agree that it looks like it could be an abscess, or possibly a bite wound. Whatever it is, you need to get him to a vet ASAP.
