Callee, one of our Feral-born - has been in the Family room - Kitchen cat zone for a little over two years now - still untouchable, but finally not running from my camera.
Callee is a tiny cat - she looks more like a 6-month old.
I trapped her in January 2012.
After two years of living with us we are allowed to be close to her without her running - but, on her own terms.
She seems to enjoy being around us, and knows how to beg really well. She kisses our legs with her tail as we prepare her treat, and I can hardly prevent myself from reaching down and scrubbing that beautiful little body - but, I know better.
She lives with the two newest feral-born boys that we were able to begin to socialize within weeks of their birth - they are now over 1 year old.
If calicos have a feisty reputation - she seems to be living up to everything they say about them. She is our second calico - and they can be little stinkers. Our older one - Phoebe - will attack another sleeping cat just because - go figure.
