Cat furr shedding

Hello, Is it normal for a cat to shed a LOT of furr?

I mean, I always comb my two cats.. but our couch is still always covered with so much furr lol! It's not like my cats are going bald or anything even close to that.. it just seems like their furr comes in unlimited supply.

Some cats shed more than others. Diet can help with shedding but some coats are thicker and shed more.
