Hi, my 9 year old female cat just started going into the litter box every few minutes. She meows at us once in a while and keeps squatting in her litter box but to no avail. We cleaned out her water fountain and refilled it, and she started going to the bathroom a little less often. She sat and cleaned herself down there a couple times. We also noticed a few weeks ago that there were two small bare spots on her body, but we don't know if these things are connected. I'm a little worried about her, because we don't know what brought this about. Any advice on how to help her out?

It sounds like she might have a UTI! Take her to the vets and get some antibiotics ands maybe some pain meds! I don't know what those spots could be so be sure to get them checked on at the vets!
