Hello, in the past hour my cat has starting very oddly.
She was up on the kitchen worktops which she normally does but then right in front of me she started to take a wee on my peg bag. This is despite her litter tray being a very short distance away. So I picked her up and put her in her litter tray, she sat there for a while looking as if she was straining. After that she proceeded to go to her cat basket and wee again. She has now have lots of wees all around the kitchen and has taking to sitting on her side as she does this. Each wee is very short and she then licks herself after having done it. Unfortunately though she is wetting herself and her fur on one side seems to be all damp. She is an indoor cat.
I have remembered smelling cat wee twice over the past week but I didn't think anything of it then. And it was only twice, unlike what seems to be happening at the moment.
Any ideas as to what she is doing she is about 12 years old.
