Hello!
So my cat, Miller, is coming home this afternoon after 1 night at the ER clinic and 1 night at our vets office. He had a really bad blockage. They cleared him out but he still has blood in his urine and they said his bladder is really squishy/flaccid and his kidney levels are "not ideal". So our vet is sending him home with us for the weekend with his catheter and IV still in. I'm worried because I feel like he should still be with the vet so they can watch over him. Is it normal for cats to come home with these things? We are setting him up in a pretty decent sized play pen, so that he can't move around too much but can still get to his litter box. I'm just worried that he will pull something out or hurt himself more. We are going to watch him of course, I've just never heard of this and don't want him to end up worse than he is. Any advice/tips would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
