Just realize that my cat broke one of the "vampire" teeth, from the looks of it it broke because of cavity weakened the teeth(it look like a broke chicken wing). The root is still there with a clean cut, is there anything I need to concern about?

PS, cat is perfectly normal.

Please call your vet - the tooth will need to be pulled to prevent future infection from setting in.

Off to the Kitty Dentist (your VET) !!!

If the root is exposed he is in pain ! Remember cats are nortorious at hiding pain and if you ever had an exposed nerve you know how painful that was.

Please get the medical attention he needs !

I have to agree with everyone. It is probably a wise choice to take him to the vet. He is likely in a considerable amount of pain and not showing it.

My Stumpy cracked off half of his vampire tooth many years ago and we did take him to the vet for it. He didn't need to have it removed and is perfectly fine with half a tooth. Have your vet make the call on this one.
