Cat bed washing

My cat has one of those beds that's supposed to radiate heat back to her. It isn't electric or battery operated.  I was just wondering if it's safe to wash it in the washing machine AND dry it in the dryer? Any help would be appreciated.

I've got one of these. But it's got a cover that you remove to wash. The inside bit looks like tin foil stuff. Is yours the same as this or different ?

If it doesn't come apart I would wash it on gentle but NOT dry it in the dryer, it may ruin something. I buy inexpensive towels to lay over mine and then wash them. You can pick them up for a dollar sometimes and they are easier to wash.
