Cat Acting Weird

My cat is just about to be three in June and the past couple of days he’s suddenly became scared of anything that moves. This is much more prominent at night time and he will shake try to get away from me and stare at the wall as if there’s a ghost standing there. He looks at objects like tv remotes as if they are going to bite him. This is my first cat and I was just wondering if this behaviour is normal or should I do something about it? Thanks

Can you take him into the vet for a check up? Sudden behavior changes in cats can be a sign of underlying medical problems.

Has there been anything outside of the normal that has happened lately? Could he have gotten a scare by something? How close is he to the things he is afraid of? If they are close by remember that cats eyesight is pretty bad and they can’t always see items close up clearly. Definitely get him to the vet for a check up though. I hope he calms down soon.
