Does anyone feed Castor and Pollux, specifically the Organix grain-free chicken and turkey? The ingredients actually look pretty good and the BIG PLUS seems to be NO GUMS!

I read that Castor and Pollux is owned by Merrick, which is owned by Purina, which is the BIG MINUS. Peas protein, peas, and carrots (why?!?) are other minuses, but still...no gums!
I avoid carrageenan completely, as it seems to make Max itchy. But most of the canned foods I feed contain at
least one gum, usually guar. Do you think the veggies outweigh the lack of gums? Am I better off feeding a food like Wild Calling with no veggies but Guar gum at #4 on the ingredient list? Or, since no one seems to have any current issues to guar gum or peas, does it even matter?
I do feed Wild Calling but no one is, well, wild about it.. I also feed Merrick LID, ZiwiPeak, TikiCat, Weruva, and some NV Instinct LID, as well as as much raw as they'll eat. Not everykitty will eat every brand/protein source. And I really want to increase the number of brands in my rotation.
If anyone else has tried it, I'd love to hear how your cats like it!
