With the McDonald v. Chicago SCOTUS case up for oral arguments in a few weeks, and the NRA v. Chicago case on hold pending the ruling on McDonald..... AND the potentially huge implications of the case, which if McDonald wins, would mean the overturning of the Slaughter-House Cases and 137 years of precedent - I want to join a forum online that primarily seems to discuss the 2nd amendment from a legal standpoint. I've been reading articles by law professors around the country predicting the outcome of this case and I find it fascinating from the standpoint of somebody interested in law, notably constitutional law. So I want to join this forum and talk about the case and some of the interesting caselaw I've found on Westlaw and LexisNexis that seem to be relevant.
Anyways, I don't want to use the username "Lawguy" over there, because I think it would misrepresent me as being more authoritative in my legal opinion than I am. I'm just a law student, and not even in school at the moment at that.
So, I was trying to think of something that would represent me, somehow maybe combining my being a Minnesota resident and cat owner and a guy. Just something simple, but distinctive. I would prefer something somewhat manly if possible.
For some reason, I've hit a mental block on coming up with names. Sorry if this is silly. I just can't seem to come up with a username I like. So I figured I'd ask for ideas.
