A few of you may know that back in the beginning of June I took in an 8 week old kitten that showed up at my house. A couple of weeks after that, we got the announcement at work that the company I work for was closing down our branch office and I was laid off on July 31. I have been looking for work (in my industry) for 3 months now with no luck.
So of course, cost is an issue when it comes to neutering Deuce. I called my regular vet and they told me the cost to neuter was $115. I remember a former co-worker telling me his daughter took a new cat to a vet clinic in another city to be neutered. I questioned why she couldn't find a clinic locally...he said it was a really good price and that's why she drove out there. I contacted her and she told me where it was, but couldn't quite remember the name of the place. I contacted all 3 vet clinics in that city a couple of days ago and got their prices. WOW! One was $30, one was $35 and the other was $27.50.
