I'm not sure we should believe you... why is there no straw in either or your hair?

Its fun especially when Im in a hurry and Jim has just started his "story" and I interrupt to say, "Jim stop lying, tell them the truth, we have to go"
and Jim starts pouting because his spotlight got turned off

Would you believe me if I told you we actually got married at one of these Hay Conventions ? It was in beautiful Puerto Rico and my husband planned the whole thing and it was on Valentines Day

That's just wonderful! What a kind sweet man you have.

Now this just begs the question, besides getting married, what does one do at a hay convention?

Have a romp in the hay, of course!
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Edit: I meant to quote lookinglass...

Goose, I was thinking your hubby was a big smiling cheeseball until you posted the serious picture.

<nods wisely>I'd bet Oliver Platt's SO does that too when they're in a hurry.

Well what I do there and my DH does there are 2 different things...My friend and I shop while our men go to meetings and go to different locations that excite Hay People...like farms etc... There is always great food and fun things to do there are 2 meetings every year in different locations I have really seen a lot of places I never would have seen otherwise. When he first told me about going I was a little worried, but now it's just part of our lives, and he is on the board, it's The National Hay Association.

Ah, so that's what the mods mean when they say TCS is a family site.

That's so cool... it sounds like what my parents used to do when I was younger. My father was on some national board of medicine and they would go all around the world for their conventions. They truly loved it.
