can I purchase some kind of

My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat.

My last place I had a deck and she would go under it.

That was her safe spot outside, since she's a super scaredy

cat.

This new place has a deck she was going under too, but I had to

stop that because its such a tight fit for her she would come out

of it just filthy.  She was still trying to dig in there for a bit but now

realizes she can't get under their.  But she has no real safe spot

in my backyard anymore, and that could be a problem, causing her

to stray too far away. 

Can I purchase some kind of cat house?

My concern is even if I buy something she doesn't like it.  Just wondering

if people have bought/ made something for their cat that gives them a nice

safe house.  And of course the cat really likes it.

There are all sorts of things you can purchase or make. A simple Rubbermaid tote with a hole cut in it would work and wouldn't cost too much. If there are other cats around, she may need a bigger spot with two entries (for a fast escape when someone else comes to call and she's not in the mood for visitors)
