Can I bathe my cat some time after applying flea and tick prevention?

Hello!

My cat (Bessy) is an indoor and outdoor cat, and we didn't want her to get fleas and ticks/bring them in. We bought some flea and tick prevention and treatment(the kind that you apply monthly). After it absorbs through her fur and skin, can I bathe her? Or will that mess up the treatment?

:thanks:
Does she have to go outside where there are many dangers?

Why do you want to bathe her? Cats don't need to be bathed.

Yes you can, I bathe mine once every 2-3 months.  They love being refreshed.

Minimum wait time is 48 hours after applying topical treatment,

it needs time to be absorbed.
