My mom gave me some old photos that she scanned for me to try and restore with my Paint Shop Pro. And with this picture it was in frame with a mat around it. PSP can recolorize it, but not get rid of the brown outline/box. Can anyone with PS or PSP help? Any suggestions?

Photoshop is a great way to spend a night of insomnia

I'll run it through Photoshop and see what I can do with it.
Do to the excessive amount of jpeg artifacting the image is extremely difficult to work with.
However I removed most of the jpeg artifact, increased resolution to 300 dpi,
and increasd the image size to 8 by 10.
Due to the problems I decided to play around a little hope that you like the results.
