Oh honey ... as an old married person, the best advice I can give you is what works for me ... I just hand my husband cash and tell him to go out and buy what he wants. And he does. And he loves it. I am saved from the anguish of shopping for him, buying something that fits/works/interests him and he is happy cuz he gets exactly what he wants.
We like this idea so much that it has now spilled over into Christmas and Birthday gift giving as well. Tricia - As usual, I'm scanning very quickly though the posts. When I read yours, I thoughtOur silver anniversary is coming up at the end of June, and we've decided to be practical and, 1) replace the cat net on our back balcony, and 2) get rid of our 15-year-old car, and 3) buy something with airbags , a hatchback, and AC..
