Calico's are mostly female but there are some males out there. But the males are impotent. Just the same as with Torties. and I don't think that calico is a breed. I think they are just a color pattern. just like a Tortie. But I might be wrong!!

Calico - Is a color pattern like Red,Black, Blue Cream etc etc, not a breed.

I have one calico called Holly who you are all probably sick of seeing pics of her..lol
