That is actually just the pillows...I had stripped the bed to wash the bed linens and had just thrown the bedspread back over the whole thing. When I got back, I found that the cats had decided that it was a really excellent place to nap.

when we first brought her home--she was 3 years old but sooo tiny. She looks like a baby bunny is this picture with those big back feet!

I love them too. I don't know much about breeds of cats but I just love them. How do you know that you have a calico? What I mean is what are traits or markings that let you know you have a calico?

Calico's have the orange, black and white type markings. If you look through all the photos again, you'll notice all the cats have this colouring. Some have lots of white, some have not much white, but they all have similar other colours (also in different proportions).

Tortoiseshells are solid black and orange/caramel with no white.

Here's our baby Calico. Her name is Leela.. she's about 3 months old.

Most of her white is on her chin and belly - oh and her toes... Beside her is Bubbles our 4 yo grey tabby.
