Hello! A few months ago we picked up a stray Cat that turned out to be pregnant (we found out when she went to get spayed!). She went in to labor Thursday and was not progressing after 12 hours so we took her to the emergency vet. She ended up having to get a c-section and we ended up with 3 healthy little babys and a healthy momma. Shes been doing great. But about 2 days ago i noticed the skin around her incision was rough and brown, its been getting darker and spread more everyday and im becoming concerned. Has anyone seen this before of know what it is/what to do? Ive never had a pregnant cay before let alone one who had to have a csection so any thoughts are welcome!

Best is probably to phone this vet whom did the surgery. You are also their paying patient, and this is aftermath of the operation...
She is doing good otherwise? No fever, no visible pus, happy with the kittens?
(some moms being sick, care less for kittens understandably enough. While others being excellent moms, take care of them into the bitter end, even dying in severe pains - so the only sure indicum here is if they dont manage any longer to take care of them)
