Sam is a big lap cat. Bailey loves to be picked up and carried around, but seldom sits still for long, and never jumps up onto a lap. Today she asked to be picked up, and I was sitting, holding her in one arm, kind of against my shoulder like she prefers. And Sam was GLARING at us. I have never seen a cat give someone such a dirty look. So I uncrossed my legs, and said, come on, Sam, there's lots of room. And he came over and jumped right up onto my lap. That is definitely what he was thinking - what the #&$*&%^$* is SHE doing up there????
He stretched out along my leg, with his paws wrapped around one knee, which is his favourite spot, he will often sleep like that, both cats purring. Then Bailey jumped down, immediately followed by Sam. And he went right over to her, I don't think I want to know what he whispered in her ear.
They are too funny together.
