Bump On Cat Leg

Hello,

I hope this is the right place to post.. i am new here.. I just noticed the attached photo of my cats leg. It seems to have a black spot like a scab and puss inside. Any thoughts?

Does she go outside? Or come into contact with other animals? The pus can indicate infection, so it’s best to get it checked out by a vet.

That does look like an abcess forming. The problem is that they can form, rupture, drain, seal, and reform over and over, getting a little worse each time. A vet can quickly open, drain and disinfect the site so it won't come back. Left alone, the puss can cause systemic infections that compromise various organs, so it is best treated sooner rather than later.
