My gorgeous long haired orange and white tabby has acne on his chin. I knew I should have put him on a skin care regime with Arbonne LOL. All joking aside, what should I do to treat this?
You need to consult your vet for feline acne. Don't use any OTC products.
The vet will give you a scrub or anti-biotics to help clear it up generally.
Are you feeding from plastic bowls? This is generally known as the cause of feline acne.
A mild case of feline acne can be successfully treated at home by using an anti-bacterial soap containing chlorhexadine, such as Hibiclens. Severe cases need prescription medication from a vet. Also, don't use plastic food bowls as they promote feline acne.
Are the kittens snuffling and sneezing often?
How much discharge is there? I just ask because upper respiratory is a risk in kittens.
I hope someone else comes along to help with your question.

Sunshine is sneezing about 15 times per hour. He doesn't sound congested, but I am worried. I think I will be taking him and his brother in the vet tomorrow am. I have been trying to get the bugars off of their little pink noses, but it is so dried on. I have tried using a wet cotton pad, but it still doesn't come off unless i rub and rub and by that time they are major p.ssed. Any tricks on removing dried on bugars without using my nail to scrape them off?
Oh, OK, thanks for clarifying that. This isn't just a case of run-of-the-mill everyday boogers, this is a cat cold, and with that kind of discharge, bad enough to go to the vet. So I'm happy to hear you're going tomorrow. Hope your kitty is feeling better real soon!!
